In the Westwood Neighborhood of Dayton there is an incredible community center that is making a difference for its residents. The Executive Director of the Wesley Center came to The Hathaway Group to create a marketing plan that would take the center to the next level, by understanding their constituents, donors, and possible impact.
What an incredible project! We had the pleasure of speaking to the Board Members, the staff, and visiting a variety of functions at the center. The insight from each Board Member and the input from the staff helped us to fashion a true picture of what the community wanted and needed from WCCI.
The project included an analysis of competitors in the community, partnerships that should be sought, and events that could engage and build the awareness and grow usage behaviors. The goal of the marketing plan was to discover ways to bring donations, programs, or successful events to the community. The more opportunities offered to the residents of Westwood, the more they mobilize. The mobilization of the community creates the necessary elements to eliminate the issues and look toward a bright future for kids and families.
As the Executive Director moves toward a strategic plan, she has the marketing tools she needs to succeed, the ideas and the formula to put them into practice, and a guide to execute the marketing plan in the community.
